WE WANT TO HELP YOUR SCHOOL BE ITS BEST

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers were leaving the education field in droves. Education metrics in America for both reading and math have been on the decline for years, and the number of new/innovative teachers coming into the profession is declining.

This level of systematic and consistent decline in outcome measures for any industry would be alarming; but that this decline is from an industry entrusted to develop those who are the future workers and leaders of our country should be a red-alert. The policy and research focus for this problem have almost exclusively oriented on micro-solutions regarding individual issues related to the teacher and the student. There is virtually no research regarding how the culture, leadership, and workplace of a school impact teacher productivity and student outcomes. However, there is ample data across many other industries suggesting culture and leadership have an impact on a myriad of productivity and outcome metrics.

We believe this is a blind spot in the fields of both education reform and the field of organizational psychology. The good news is that supporting the development of new cultural strategies is not new, as the worlds of government and business have been using these strategies successfully for years. Psyince's strategy is to take the best practices of culture development, employee engagement, and leadership selection/development already being utilized in high-performing organizations in other industries and apply them to school systems.
